Other things to note
Please note that we’ve had several bikers stay on our property with mixed feedback. The driveway is a challenge for those on bikes due to the fact it is somewhat steep and gravel. We’ve come to the conclusion that unless you are a very experienced biker, this might not be the house for you, as much as we love bikers.
Cars will have no issues whatsoever.

Then, treat yourself to the finest in Smoky Mountain dining at one of our many restaurants before enjoying a nightcap at a local brewery or distillery.
Close to it all
Maggie Valley is where the Smoky Mountains meet the Blue Ridge Parkway. At your doorstep Asheville, Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountains National Park, and much, much more.
Getting around
- Our home is on top of a hill overlooking the Valley. It is not a tough drive up there, but in winter it can be somewhat challenging if it happens to snow heavily and you don’t have 4WD. That said, we do have someone on call to salt and shovel, so it should not be a problem.
- The road can be a little hard to spot, so when driving on Socco road (the main road through the valley) look for the Maggie Valley Town Hall. When you spot it, turn!
- There is so much to do in the area, and we have a guide on our property with loads of ideas for all ages!
